Kevin Pruett

Co-Founder & CEO

Kevin Pruett is a co-founder and principal of TFC. As CEO, Kevin is responsible for directing the company’s strategy, operations, capital funding and other aspects of the business to ensure it successfully carries out its mission and strategic objectives.

Prior to founding TFC, Kevin was with GE Capital’s technology financing division where he worked on leasing transactions for the Sun Microsystems program. Prior to GE Capital, Kevin was Vice President of First Sierra Financial Corporation, reporting directly to the CEO, where he originated equipment financing transactions and managed the company’s Phoenix office. From 1990 to 1997, Kevin successfully launched and managed IFC, Inc., an independent technology leasing company. Prior to beginning IFC Inc., Mr. Pruett was Marketing Director of Debt and Equity with Systems Leasing Corporation, an independent technology leasing company.

Kevin is a graduate of Southern Illinois University. In his spare time Kevin is an avid golfer and enjoys taking advantage of the Scottsdale links.

Jeff Miller

Co-Founder & COO

Jeff Miller is a co-founder and principal of TFC and is responsible for directing the company’s sales and marketing efforts with customers and vendor partners. Since TFC’s inception in 2004, Jeff has built TFC’s annual financing volume through excellent service and strong relationships.

Previous to TFC, Jeff was with GE Capital’s technology finance division where he was one of the highest producing salespeople within its Sun Microsystems Finance program. As such he developed and managed key relationships with several strategic customers. He also held other sales, marketing and business development roles at GE where he won recognition awards for his results.

Jeff holds a B.S. degree in Business from California State University Northridge. As a native Californian, most early mornings he can be found surfing at a San Diego area beach.

Thayne Lyman

CFO

Thayne Lyman is the Chief Financial Officer for TFC, with responsibility for investor reporting, corporate accounting, internal controls and risk management functions. For nearly 25 years, Thayne has helped small and mid-size businesses finance their growth using equipment financing strategies.

Prior to TFC, Thayne served as the North America Sales Manager of Microsoft Financing’s small and mid-size business customer segment. In this role, he grew the group’s annual volume from $75 million to more than $400 million. Prior to his role at Microsoft, Thayne held various roles at GE Capital technology finance division including Area Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager. He also served as a Sr. Vice President of Sentry Financial Corporation where he invested pension funds in technology financing.

Thayne is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Accounting from University of Utah. He is a contributing author of “Operating Leases: The Complete Guide”, by Amembal & Assoc., 2000.
